What is the smell that you first notice when you open the pouch of Shukrani Green tea?  Pineapple!  I don’t know how they did it.  It must be the Kenyan air and the water.

Shukrani Green Tea can be prepared successfully with all kinds of brewing methods, from a relatively high leaf-to-water ratio in a Chinese gaiwan, to an infuser in a mug, to a large teapot. If initial results are overbearing, back off on temperature, amount of leaf, or steeping time until the desired result is achieved. This tea will keep producing a satisfying brew through at least five infusions.

Shukrani means "gratitude" in Swahili.  It is a really different green tea to sip while feeling grateful for the farmers who worked so hard to process this tea.
